69 Checkmate V-141

Here is the little 14ft checkmate with a 80hp Merc . This was the day we went and picked her up . Got a really good deal on her too .

Here are a few pictures from when I took the carbs apart to get enough room to replace the bad fuel line . Was not like working on the bix sixes . These 4 cyl have no room once so ever

Was pulling the lower unit here . Found out that the lover was cracked and the carrier was loose . Unit was junk and couldnt be repaired . Found another lower in good shape .

Used lower unit I found all installed and replaced the impeller

Did a compression test on the motor and she checked out great Between 150-155 psi

This was when I replaced the trigger . Sometimes she would run great and others after she got warm wouldnt start back up once shut off .

Last picture of the season . Just came back from running her to make sure everything was ok after having the distributor all apart . Every thing was great .
