OSO sold?

I hear that Offshore Only has been sold. I read an article but can't find it now.

I wonder how many will stay with them now that it is a "Corporate" site.

Internet Brands bought them up.

They've been buying up a number of larger communities.

They also recently bought up the hull truth and a number of auto related forums.

I wonder what the $$ figure was on OSO? I wouldn't know where to even guess.

I would imagine it was a lot of dough.

They have a lot of members and a good number pay membership fees.

You can't do much on OSO without paying, so it stands to reason they've got some decent revenues. And then there's the advertising dollars. 50K members is a lot of eyeballs.

So if the hull truth has been bought up and OSO has been bought up, the next biggest boating site that I know of is Scream and Fly. Could it be the next target? :eek:
