I installed a new bilge blower and it keeps blowing fuses. I have sodered the conections. any help on what to do would be appreicated.

Make sure you have the right size fuse and that it is not hooked up wrong.

What size fuse are you using?
Also does the fuse blow right away?? or does it take a few seconds or minutes to blow when it's turned on ???

Im using a 20 amp fuse and it comes on for a second befor it blows

thanks again for the help20 amps is to big. If it's blowing within one second with a 20 amp then you probably either have a direct short in the wiring somewhere between the switch at the helm and the blower itself, Or the blower itself may be defective from new.

I am changing the switch today the blower is good I jumped a wire to the battery. Hope the switch does the trick
