Kansas requires insurance, as well as our finance company.

Depending on what you have it can sometimes be added to your house insurance. If it's a performance boat though however, you might have to go to a specialty insurer. So for my hot-rod I use Premier and for the rest, the house insurance covers them. :D
At least that's how it works up here Krazy Kanook land. :p :)

All my toys are added on to my house insurance, I like the Krazy Kanook way, LOL, they allow up 225 hp on a 18ft boat so even the mate was OK.

My wife and I just completed a online course, from: BoatU.S. and in Kansas if you successfully pass the course, you can receive up to 10% off of your yearly cost of insurance. AND for Kansas residents, it was free !!!! :bounce:
I should know how much I save if any at all in a few days.
It varies from state to state.
Wouldn't hurt to look into it. It is informative !!!!
