Link not working

For some reason, I can't get here from the entry page, unless I manually type in /forums/ before the index.php

Are you hitting the enter button on the front splash page?

The forum address is actually in a sub-forum if you have a look.

So the address is in the form of forums.endlessboating.com/forums/

I follow the link from your post, then I click on the big word that says enter.

it takes me to this page.

http://forums.endlessboating.com/index.php then I enter the /forums between the .com and the /index.php

It worked the other day and then didn't this morning.

I just hit the forums link on the portal navbar and it brings me here.

I know you can access the board incorrectly and you get some stuff with images missing.

I'm just following the links, and the place where the portal should be all I get is a box with this message:

You would need to provide your own index.php if they don't have to use the home module, because the index.php included with vbPortal, just sends them here. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator (http://forums.endlessboating.com/forums/sendmessage.php)

I think I got it figured out.

Give it a go now.

You may have to do a forced refresh by holding down the control button while hitting refresh.

The supporter's usergroup in the portal had some funky permissions.

That's why you were fine a day or two ago and then weren't when I moved you to the supporter's group.
