1971 50HP Evinrude Carburetor Question

Can someone tell me how to remove the bearing needle valve (race) from the low speed needle valve? I've removed the lead shot and tried to pick it out without success. Any help would be appreciated.

I guess you don't have service manual?

I wish I knew the answer so I could help.

I'll check at my cottage and see if I have a service manual for that year, but I won't be up there for about a week or so.

Chris I do have a manual but it does not show or tell how to remove this seat/ needle bearing. I got info from another person that recommended using a tap. He said he has success in the past w/ this. Thanks for responding
