25hp Enough?

Thinking about buying an Alumacraft 16ft V Package that comes with a 25hp Yamaha. Weekend fishing boat - my rip it across the lake Nitro days are over (was so much fun while it lasted):)

What is the max HP the boat is rated for?

I would guess 25 will move it along and more ponies would move it along faster still.

If it is rated for a 25 HP motor,...don't go over that as that will be the maximum HP the boat is rated for. Check your 'Capacity Plate' to be sure.
