What is a stern thruster?
It is a propulsion device that is conventionally mounted on the stern of a boat that allows the operator to move the stern in a port or starboard (left or right) direction. It will drastically improve an operator’s ability to man over a boat which is especially useful when docking, navigating through locks, or operating on windy days.

I may have to change my name on here to "rookie" or "newbie" or......, because I had to go to my trusty friend Google to find out what a stern thruster was.:D You learn something new every day as the saying goes.

The one in your picture appears to be very large. Which leads to my question- How frickin big is the ship that's getting attached to?

Rebuilding something like that is quite an accomplishment.

Congrats

I guess you're not going to be mounting those on the I/O eh?

If you do, I would suggest a dryland take off! :D
