I don't know if any of you heard that in June, the SS Keewatin reurned to Port McNichol , Ontario (her home port) after being absent since 1967.

The arrival was on the 100th anniversary of the ships first arrival in that port. She is a 350' Edwardian Steamship, built 5 years before Titanic (in 1907)and is the last of her kind on earth.

She was operating as a museum in Saugatuck, Michigan on the Kalamazoo River.

Wow. What a great story. Thanks for the posts. A special moment! I'm sure she's glad to be home.

There's no question that the Keewatin has re-vitalized Port McNichol. It's a great tourist area (and near Toronto) so when you get a chance c'mon up and see her in person!
