~~ Trailer wheel bearings ~~

First of all, I am NOT very mechanical. The EZ Loader trailer that we have has buddy bearings. Should a guy "hand pack" the bearings once a year, or rely on the buddy bearing itself to keep the bearings greased.

I know how to pack bearings, so it isn't a problem.

I was wondering if it would be a good idea, or not. (The trailer is a 2006, that I have had since Aug. 2007)

~~ Thanx ~~

I would say yes.

You can probably get away going longer depending on how many times you dunk it and also how far you travel with it.

Personally, if I'm going to travel very far, I would repack them. It's easier to repack, then replace a spindle or worse axle.

And make sure when you repack that you use a good marine bearing grease.

Just my .02 cents. :D
