NEW Job................

Thanksgiving week, I started a "new" job.

Detailing cars for a local FORD dealership.

I've always liked cleaning vehicles, and the time, money, and opportunity was right.

I can get a substantially reduced price on a new FORD vehicle. Am thinking it's time for a new truck.

NOW, if wife and I can agree on colors, options etc. We DID come to an agreement on which "trim" we want. It will be a King Ranch.
EcoBoost, or V-8.

It will NOT be the designated boat hauler, as my wife will be the one to drive it mostly.

All the option choices is enough to make you want to pull your hair, deciding what you do/don't want.

Am gonna take about 6-8 paychecks, and use them for purchase.

I have a 2002 King Ranch, and supposedly a guy I know is wanting it pretty bad.

STAY TUNED !!!!!! It will be a entertaining deal !!!!!!

Not selling, cleaning/detailing vehicles.

Raptor, prob not. Not sure the garage door would let it in. probably a new King Ranch, V-8.

HOWEVER, there is a yellow Mustang GT on the lot, that is interesting !!!! :sssh:

Cool. :)

I'm more of a GM guy, but I like the last generation Raptor with the V-8.

The new one with the twin-turbo, not so much. LOL!

We schedule appointments, suggest repairs, oil changes, etc.

We have 3 Tech's, (mechanics), and 2 guys that change oil, mount and balance tires and such.

Most of the time it is pretty easy, BUT, once in a while you just want to pull your hair out !!

We deliver cars, explain problems to customers etc.

ALOT of customer service !!! :bigthumb:

I had been working with a woman, that had been in the service writers position since last Oct.

Last Friday, they let her go.

Hope my days aren't numbered !!!!

Wife and I are looking at a King Ranch F-150. In "White Gold" color, with the Caribou on the bottom, and ALL the chrome !!!

It's the car business...it seems like people come and people go.

It seems like every time I go to our local GM dealer I have a new service advisor! ;)

Hopefully you'll have better luck! :thumb:
