2010 Toronto International Boat Show Coverage

Direct Energy Center - Toronto, Ontario - January 14, 2010
Well, yesterday marked the date for our annual trip down to the Toronto International Boat Show.
We're enjoying a very welcomed mild spell here in Toronto, mild translating into temperatures a few degrees above celsius.  But unlike most years at this time of January, the weather is at least hinting that the spring of 2010 isn't too far away.
We have close to a couple of hundred pictures that we've taken and the plan is to post a few every few days or so. Hopefully, we've taken enough to tide us over until the ice goes out!

2008 Toronto International Boat Show Coverage

Direct Energy Center - Toronto, Ontario - January 12, 2008
Well, it's a brisk January Saturday morning here in Toronto, and the crispness of the mid morning January air is a quick reminder that we're still months away from the opening of cottage season. Perhaps many months! Well at the very least, it's a while off, at least for us boaters up here in Ontario.
Given that, what would you expect to be on today's personal agenda?
Shovelling the driveway? Home improvements? R&R?
Nope.
Boats! 
Thankfully, today, marks the opening of the 50th annual Toronto International Boat Show. But really what today's show offers is a small reprieve from the reality of frozen lakes and snow banks, surely the nemesis of any summer cottager and boating addict. This years venue is Exhibition Place, same as the last bunch.

So, it's -20ish degrees Celsius here in Toronto, Lake Ontario looks like a skating rink... 
...Sounds like a good time to go to the 2009 Toronto International Boat Show! 
Yolanda has taken an absolute ton of pictures, so tune in once every day or so, as I'll be posting up a few pics each day or two.
Hopefully we've got enough pics to get us to the spring thaw! We can only hope.
